WATER

Water—the most precious substance on Earth. It nourishes, sustains, and gives us life. It is our very essence. On every level, from political to spiritual, people are beginning to recognize the important role that water plays in maintaining our individual and collective well-being.

This recording is designed to bring you into resonance with the frequency of water through the innovative therapeutic concept of “Full Spectrum Sound.” The long, resonant tones you hear on this record are made with specially designed instruments that translate the actual molecular frequency of water into sound frequencies. Water is thus the first music album to harness the resonant vibrations of life’s most essential natural element.

This music was recorded during a time in my life that was literally “saturated” with water. On September 15, 2007, at 11 p.m. Greenwich Mean Time, in conjunction with Earthdance International, I launched the H2Om project. During this event, people all over the world sang the sacred syllable OM in the largest synchronized chant in history, while the same frequency was transmitted into major waterways throughout the world via specially designed underwater speakers. The idea was to “homeopathically resonate” the Earth’s water with a global intention of healing, thus uniting all life—on land and in the sea.

Earlier that year at the 2007 Burning Man Festival, with the support of The Museum of Outdoor Arts, I helped to create the Sacred Water Temple, a beautiful multi-media operatic ritual that celebrated the sacred element of water. Now, with the release of Water, my wish is for the natural frequencies of life’s most essential molecule to “homeopathically resonate” the water in your body, and help you achieve balance, purity, and bliss.
