LIGHT
“To be a star, you must shine your own light, follow your own path, and don’t worry about the darkness, for that is when the stars shine brightest.”
The light of a star appears white to us, but white light is made up of the full spectrum of visible light. When white light shines through a crystal or through water, the light is split into its component parts and the rainbow is revealed. Humans need this full-spectrum light in order to thrive.
The chimes and tuning forks used on Light are a set of tones, each mathematically corresponding to one of the colors of the visible spectrum. Each note represents a color of the rainbow. Sounded together, they create nuances of sonic color to calm, balance, and illuminate your environment with Full Spectrum Sound.
While recording Light, I saw double rainbows in a variety of times and places. Maybe this was simple coincidence, but I take it as a reminder of what spiritual adepts have known for centuries and Western science is just beginning to understand: we are beings of light. I hope you too will be reminded of this as you listen.
